The thunder woke me up. Uh-oh ~ rain! I guess rain is not so bad if you planned on going to a water park, but thunder and lightening and water parks do not mix. Plan B ~ antiquing, shopping or indoor water park. Let's take a vote! If we do this democratically, we now see the downside to having more children then adults in the family. What choice do you think the kids picked? O.K. so indoor water park it is. Since were planning on going to Cedar Point Amusement Park, we searched for an indoor water park near our next destination. Great Wolf Lodge in Sandusky, Ohio is just 15 minutes from the amusement park. Perfect, so we booked a room. As soon as we were confirmed and paid, the clouds parted and the sun came out. Oh well, indoor water park it is.
We arrived at Great Wolf Lodge under sunny skies and checked in. Have you ever been to an indoor water park?
Charlie could not get in the park fast enough. Slides, slides and more slides. . . .
|She can even get her thumbs up for the photo!|
. . . Lazy Rivers . . .
. . . and lots of fun! Charlie was truly tireless. It seems the more energy he expended, the more he got. It must be some law of physics. Again, again, again. In fact, as I write this, he is still awake (and hungry).
Tomorrow is more Great Wolf Lodge and Cedar Point Amusement Park (well for some of us ~ I got a look at some of those extreme roller coaster rides and I think I'll stick to the water park.).
